The City of Lachute purchased the former United Church on Main Street and is converting it into a magnificent new home for the municipal library! What a lovely way to preserve and repurpose the town’s religious heritage!

Lachute is a hive of activity every Tuesday during the summer season… It’s a long-standing local tradition! The Lachute flea market attracts hundreds of producers and merchants who arrive at dawn to sell fresh produce, antiques, clothing, and much more.
